So What’s it about?
Google, will be hosting its annual event, Google I/O, virtually for developers. Keynotes and content are free and online, for developers interested in Google products and topics related to AR events and objects in Google Search, Artificial Intelligence, ML, Flutter, and Cloud computing. Google will also present its latest software advancements, such as the Android/IOS Cloud-based mapping, Android 13 beta version, and a possible Pixel 6A.
Out of all the AR events 2022, this one is quite interesting! You can go through new learning paths through CodeLab and an ‘I/O Adventure’ where you engage with the developer community, earn dev badges, create an avatar and look for Easter eggs.

F8 Meta Connect - Oct 2023
So What’s it about?
From the name itself, one of the largest VR conferences, Connect, this one-day event brings global AR/VR communities together in order to experience the latest XR innovations. Developers, researchers, and engineers can also join Reality Labs to partake or witness the future of augmented and virtual reality.
A variety of topics were highlighted in the Connect 2021 VR event such as bringing 2D Apps to VR, making Accessible VR, creating AR experiences for brands and creators, growing multiplayer apps for VR, diverse communities in Horizon Worlds, a career in AR, graphic rendering in Quest 2, hands & controllers with interaction SDK, WebXR development and much more.
During its 2019 onsite F8 conference, Meta announced Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift S, and body tracking research. However, since then the 2020 and 2021 have been held online. This year’s virtual reality event 2022 paused its Connect conference to focus on building the metaverse with AI.
